St. Marlboro is a Chicago rock 'n' roll band influenced by twangy classic country, ethereal indie rock, and the grit of Chicago punk. The four-piece band creates a unique urban-gothic sound, reminiscent of early 2000’s folk-rock powerhouses. This backdrop serves as the vehicle for singer-songwriter Kyle Paulin’s straightforward storytelling, complimented by melancholy Americana undertones. They have performed throughout Chicago and the Midwest, supporting acts such as Left Lane Cruiser, Lucky Tubb, The Goddamn Gallows, Railway Gamblers, and J.R.C.G., and have made their presence known in the Chicago club circuit at venues like Schubas, Empty Bottle, Subterranean, and Reggie’s Rock Club. Their live show is a high-energy, yet intimate experience, featuring a spectrum of sounds ranging from delicate to scathing.

"Magic Rockers of Texas released their Rugged Braids EP at the beginning of this year, brilliantly displaying Jim Campo’s proclivity for a lot of gritty rock sounds, from garage to country...Their live shows are pure energy in the fast lane from start to finish, turning new listeners into hard fans at every time they take the stage." - Taylor Wallace (KUTX)

Jimmy created his stage persona 'Jim the Kid' in 2019, after years of steadily working on his craft while based inChicago.
Shortly after releasing 'Bar Flies', he started working on new material for his most recent album titled "Orange Juice."
His storytelling on the album evokes a mysterious and dreamy environment via overly saturated tape loops, fuzzy synth rhythms and distorted vocals.
