SQUID

Squid is a hard hitting post rock/shoegaze band out of Chicago, IL. The band formed in January of 2017 and began working on their debut album 'Watersports' which was released in September of 2017. Following the release of 'Watersports' squid went on tour across the east coast and has been performing at various venues throughout Chicago since. Squid is influenced by bands like Duster, Built to Spill, Hum, Dinosaur Jr, Broken Social Scene, Rush, and Smashing Pumpkins. The band is currently planning a tour in June of 2018 for the release of their sophomore album 'Soda Pop' which is set to be recorded in May of 2018.

OCEANATOR

Oceanator is the solo endeavor of Brooklyn based musician Elise Okusami. Okusami released her debut EP in February 2017. The EP, recorded at her brother Mike Okusami’s Maryland studio, plays to Okusami’s folk-pop and rock aesthetics. Stand out tracks include ‘Nowhere Nothing’ and ‘Afternoon’ both of which have received praise from publications such as Pitchfork, Impose Magazine, and Heartbreaking Bravery.

POCKETED

Pocketed is very fun and sometimes happy music played by very fun and sometimes happy people. It is angular and frequently surprising, and also realistic.

HARVEY DENTURES

Harvey Dentures was formed in 2016 by songwriter Mike “Puffington” Maynard with the release of debut EP “The Rent.” Shortly after its release, he recruited guitarist Colin Kaniff, drummer Max Petot, and bassist Anthony Santoro (all of Chicago bands Nomar and Old Joy) to round out the full lineup. Colin left shortly before the band recorded their first full length record, entitled “Guilt Trip,” leaving Anthony to take his place on guitar and Keifer Douglas (of Chicago band Squid.) to step in as the full-time bassist. They are currently working on a new EP, “The Stix,” due in early summer 2017 and are an active fixture in Chicago’s DIY music scene.
