SPIRITS OF LEO is a post-punk band founded in Santa Rosa, California, and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. 

DAHL HAUS weaves dreamy art pop and angsty indie rock with electronic noise, distortion, and the occasional cult film soundbite to create a moody, nugaze soundscape dripping with drama and crackling with kinetic energy. Before she was even old enough to legally be in the clubs she played, frontwoman and songwriter Blaise Dahl had already worked with The Alarm’s Mike Peters, Labelle’s Nona Hendryx; sang experimental chamber rock with the Brooklyn Philharmonic for an original composition by composer/bassist Jesse Krakow (Shudder To Think, Dot Wiggin Band) featuring drummer Eric Slick (Dr. Dog); and played bass and sang backups for the Jennie Vee band (bassist for Hole, and Eagles of Death Metal), opening for the Manic Street Preachers 20th Anniversary tour. You can also see her as the bassist in Jennie's Echo and the Bunnymen 'Lips Like Sugar' cover video (styled by Courtney Love and featured in Nylon Magazine). Next season, you might catch a glimpse of her playing bass in the house band of a bar set in a major, scripted Netflix series. The diversity of her experience at a young age shows in her evocative songwriting, powerful vocals, hypnotic stage presence, and her keen ability to attract equally strong musicians. Dahl Haus started as a musical collective of rotating players, but eventually Blaise found her match in Daniel Kasshu, (frontman/songwriter for Mevius and Dialogue From a Silent Film, and former touring guitarist for Death Valley High). The two agreed to trade off spots playing on each other’s projects. Dahl Haus' 6-track debut EP, "Welcome to the Dahl Haus" was recorded at Studio G in Brooklyn with Jeff Berner (Psychic TV); three songs were leaked when they became part of outside projects but ultimately the band decided to hold back the record’s official release to create a full album instead, which is now expected sometime later this year.  The band's song "Seasick" was recently featured alongside musical icons the Dandy Warhols in David Leigh Abts’ “Bodega,?” an indie documentary about gentrification and the Brooklyn music scene that is currently making  the rounds at film festivals; a second song, “First Mistake,” was used in another Abts’ short called, “Balls?”.
