After carving their own path in the hardcore scene for the past five years, Southpaw.FLHC has officially partnered with Spinefarm Records. The band is gearing up to drop their first full length record ever, in early 2026 under the label. Marking a defining moment in their history.
Formed in 2020, the seasoned four-piece powerhouse set out to bridge the gap between the old and new generations of hardcore. Featuring tracks that blend punk, hardcore, metal and hip hop, backed by raw lyrical aggression and relentless energy to go the distance.
Southpaw is set to deliver their heaviest material to date on their upcoming record. With a statement of self-empowerment, pushing through struggle, perseverance and building a legacy that speaks to all walks of life.

Putting in the work, their earth-splitting riffs chug with enough force to register on the Richter scale, while the concrete-breaking basslines rumble straight from the gut over cataclysmic drumming. The Long Island, NY quintet—Anthony Grambo [vocals], Anthony Conti [guitar], Ian Schneider [bass], Anthony Arce [turntables], and Peter Smith [drums]—channel the cocky bravado of O.G. nu-metal through a prism of 21st century hardcore spiked with DJ squeals and vitriolic spitting.
Back in 2020, Conti initially met Grambo at a local skate park. They would regularly scooter and skate together because “the world had ended for a little while,” as Conti puts it. Soon, the conversation turned to music. Their shared inspirations ranged from Kublai Khan TX to Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Slipknot, and they started to jam together. One by one, they eventually welcomed Smith, Schneider, and Arce to the fold. Grinding to be heard, 2023’s So It Begins EP picked up traction on DSPs, generating over 1 million total streams. However, Resistor really hit the ground running with the follow-up HEADCASE EP in 2025 produced by Randy LeBoeuf [Kublai Khan, Gideon, The Acacia Strain]. They canvased North America on tour and performed everywhere from the Gathering of the Juggalos to the Inkcarceration Pre-show.
