Nate Gross is a nationally touring blues and roots rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter known for his powerful live performances and modern take on traditional American blues. With more than two decades on the road, Gross has built a loyal fan base across the United States while emerging as a respected voice in the contemporary blues scene. He is currently touring in support of his 2026 album A Ride with The Devil, bringing his high-energy performances to clubs, festivals, and listening rooms nationwide.
Gross has shared the stage with legendary artists including Walter Trout, Mike Zito, Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band, Tommy Castro, Blackberry Smoke, Levon Helm, Arlo Guthrie & More. He also toured nationally with Gulf Coast Records artist The Kelli Baker Band, further expanding his presence on the national blues circuit. In 2020, Gross appeared on select Northeast tour dates of the Masters of the Telecaster show alongside renowned guitarists G.E. Smith (Saturday Night Live Band), Jim Weider (The Band/Bob Dylan), and Duke Levine.
An award-winning guitarist, Gross has been recognized by the Louis Armstrong Jazz Foundation and Berklee College of Music. Most recently, he won the Syracuse Area Music Award for Best Blues Recording two consecutive years. His performances have been featured at major events including the New York State Blues Festival, Chenango Blues Festival, Taste of Country Music Festival, and the Billtown Blues Festival, as well as sold-out shows at legendary venues across the country.
Beyond the stage, Gross remains deeply involved in strengthening the music community. He is the founder and owner of a thriving music school in Norwich, NY, an active participant in New York State Arts in Education programs, and a board member at the historic Earlville Opera House. He also serves as Main Stage Music Coordinator and talent buyer for the Colorscape Chenango Arts & Music Festival. In addition, Gross operates a professional recording studio and specialized backline service that supports national touring artists, providing vintage gear and technical support for top level performers.
