A successful crowd funding campaign fueled the recording of their fourth album "Setting the Tone" (which landed on the iTunestop reggae charts and wassubmitted by industry insidersfor the GRAMMY Reggae Album of the Year), and led to the construction of their own studio and production lab. Following a tour schedule that included Lucidity Festival, Santa Barbara Earthday, and the California Roots Festival, Soul Majestic released a compilation album online called “Pass It Around” which reached #7 on iTunes top reggae downloads and was selected as one of iTunes Best Reggae Albums. To promote it they released singles “Rockaway”, “Deep Green,” “Dub it Out” and “Falling in Love”, which debuted live at the California Roots Festival. The band was also featured as the cover story for Irie Magazine. In recent years the band has played at the Santa Barbara Bowl, headlined the Fiji Islands Spirit Festival and Bula Festival, and toured alongside Australian reggae artist, Saritah.
Their 6th album ‘Keep it Burning’ released in 2020 hit the top 10 on iTunes Reggae Charts. The album blazes with fun collaborations & fan favorites. In the years since they’ve interspersed studio time with touring, playing theaters, clubs, bars, & festivals, continually elevating their live shows. New singles ‘Blue Summer’ & ‘Touch the Sky’ dropped in 2022 & ‘Ashes to Ashes’ a recording from the vault and ‘Let’s Be Real’ released at the start of 2024. With their next album coming out later this year, Soul Majestic has reached their highest level of live shows, songwriting, & musical creation so far. Stay Tuned!
