SOOS is a 19-year-old Mexican-American alternative R&B and indie pop artist originally from Monterey, California, now based in Antioch. Blending smooth melodies, laid-back production, and honest songwriting, he creates music that lives somewhere between vulnerability and experimentation.
Inspired by artists like Steve Lacy, Malcolm Todd, and Childish Gambino, SOOS brings his own perspective to modern alternative music, drawing from personal experiences, relationships, and the emotions that come with growing up. His sound moves freely between mellow, introspective moments and playful, unexpected ideas, allowing each song to tell its own story.
