Liz Barnez
Liz Barnez
Americana
Liz Barnez is a captivating performing songwriter whose roots run deep in the vibrant culture of New Orleans, Louisiana, now based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She blends swampy southern influences with the expansive spirit of the Rockies, creating an eclectic, genre-crossing sound. The Denver Icon praises her rich, soulful alto—“think Bonnie Raitt meets KD Lang”—noting a voice that balances strength and vulnerability with natural authenticity. Liz’s songwriting spans folk introspection, infectious New Orleans grooves, heartfelt ballads, country-flavored storytelling, and R&B-inspired reflections on love and life. Her music invites both deep listening and joyful movement. A respected figure in her community, Liz was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame as a member of Mother Folkers. She has also been voted “Best Singer-Songwriter Female” and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from FoCoMA. With four full-length albums and extensive touring across the U.S., Liz continues to evolve as an artist. More than a musician, she is a storyteller and connector whose soulful sound resonates long after the last note.

Cary Morin Duo
Americana
Described as “one of the best acoustic pickers on the scene today,” Cary Morin brings together the great musical traditions of America like no other. With deft fingerstyle guitar and vocals that alternately convey melodic elation and gritty world-weariness, Morin crafts an inimitable style often characterized as roots-infused Native Americana with hints of bluegrass, folk, blues, and rock. He has performed at renowned venues across the globe, including the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center, and is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades. David Bromberg remarks, "Cary Morin is a unique and brilliant guitar player, songwriter and singer. As a guitar player, I have huge respect for Cary’s style and technique…. If you haven’t heard him yet, you should. Try to remember that it’s only one guitar.” Music critic Bill Hurley writes, “His guitar skill is jaw-dropping, his voice is warm, worn of world experience, and his songwriting allows both of those things to flourish and captivate anyone in the room.”
Along with his life partner, Celeste Di Iorio, together they form the Cary Morin Duo. Celeste has her own history in the world of performance, having been involved in dance, theater, and music for many years. She is a vocalist and, as she would say, “a strummer on guitar.” Celeste has played and sung with Cary for over 11 years.

Miss Emily
Miss Emily
Americana
Miss Emily is a resilient and electrifying soul-blues artist whose career was already thriving with multiple Maple Blues Awards when the pandemic hit in 2020, forcing her to pivot creatively and turn professional recordings from six sold-out shows at Kingston’s Isabel Bader Centre into the acclaimed live album LIVE at the Isabel, which went on to earn a JUNO nomination for Blues Album of the Year in 2022. Her work ethic was forged over two decades performing in Southern Ontario bars and nightclubs, and she’s become known for overcoming challenges with tenacity and grace, delivering powerhouse vocals and compelling performances that connect deeply with audiences. An international touring artist in Canada, the USA, the UK and Eastern Europe, she’s a multi-award-winning performer and continues to innovate, with her upcoming album The Medicine, produced by Grammy and JUNO winner Colin Linden, slated for release in October 2025.
