NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest is heading back on the road! Join us this summer as we travel to 10 cities for a one-of-a-kind concert. New this year, each stop will feature a different surprise Tiny Desk alum headliner, plus the 2025 Contest winner, Ruby Ibarra, and up-and-coming artist, m.e.h. as support.
Hailing from the Bay Area, Ruby Ibarra is a rapper, spoken word artist and director with a commanding presence. Her winning Tiny Desk Contest entry, "Bakunawa," which was inspired by the birth of her first child and Philippine mythology, is an intergenerational collaboration with Filipina artists that spans both genres and languages.
m.e.h. is a spell spun in song - a queer Baltimore-bred siren whose voice drips with soul, sorrow, and truth. A shape-shifter of sound, she bends genres like light, weaving R&B, jazz, soul, and the avant-garde into something fiercely her own. m.e.h. is more than an artist - she is a storyteller of the soul, crafting songs that linger long after the final note.
