Born of the woods, rivers, and waterfalls of the Pacific Northwest, Sol Seed is a reggae-fusion collective blending deep reggae grooves with hip-hop, rock, soul, and psychedelic world-music textures. Known for rich, diverse vocals, unique instrumentation, and a live show that turns crowds into one big family, Sol Seed spent the 2010s touring the U.S., winning awards, and sharing the scene with many of the industry’s heavyweights. After releasing fan-favorite albums Family Tree and The Spark, and racking up tens of millions of lifetime streams (including Sugarshack’s viral “Family Tree” session), the band took a brief hiatus for family and life. They’ve since regrouped - back in the studio and back on the scene - digging deeper into the conscious, uplifting songs that carry the Pacific Northwest’s deep-roots spirit wherever they play.
