Sober Sessions Nashville is a high-energy, culture-first live music experience at Marathon Music Works featuring Ron Pope, King Lazy Eye, and Ian Flanigan—built for music lovers who want a powerful night without the alcohol. Our mission is to remove alcohol as the entry point to connection and prove that community, creativity, and belonging are stronger when everyone can fully show up.

His prolific songwriting is a natural fit for Music City’s Americana, roots, and country communities, garnering praise from publications such as Rolling Stone, Billboard, CMT, Relix, and The Tennessean. With each release, including his most recent album, American Man, American Music, released in February 2025, Pope continues to captivate audiences with his raw authenticity and profound storytelling, soul-stirring melodies, and introspective lyricism.

Ian Flanigan has been touring the United States for over a decade before settling in his current residence in Nashville TN. Three years of that decade were spent living full time out of a 24’ winnebago. Originally from Saugerties NY, Ian has a background in country, Americana, and folk. A true troubadour. He is a multi instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter with Reviver Publishing. Ian is now beginning his second full length album with Reviver Entertainment Group while working closely with producer Jon Stone to create a unique lane in country music.
