A former student of master pianists Danilo Perez and Sir Roland Hanna, NYC native Oscar Perez was still in his teens when he began sharing stages with jazz legends like Bunky Green, George Russell, and Curtis Fuller. In recent years, he’s played a strong supporting role in bands led by (among others) Wycliffe Gordon, Christian McBride, Steve Turre, and Dave Stryker.
