While just getting into the EDM scene in September 2011 by meeting DJ Jess Marquis (resident DJ at Webster Hall), her first venue she ever went and experienced EDM was actually- Webster Hall. After attending EDM events and having a passion about music, she started to learn how to DJ, make mashups as well as her own music in only about a year. Her first mashup was "Fat Reptile" which is a Sum 41 vs. Skrillex dubstep mashup. After that, her first DJ gig was September 2012 at a bar called The Woods in Williamsburg. She also made a few other tracks with the sounds of hard progressive house mixed in with rock n' roll artists, and released her first EP at an event called "Vvynl"; the first place she had DJ'd, on the week of her birthday of November 2012.After the EP release, she was contacted by DJ Jess and was offered a guest DJ spot on December 21, 2012 at the infamous 11 year old cooky, sexy, club kid party, "TRASH!" in Webster Hall's studio. After playing a packed out venue at Webster, Anna has played various venues, opened for various DJs, and has a monthly residency at the "SFX Party" at R-Bar & is currently working on her first CD titled "Atom Sphere" which has beats anywhere from drum & bass with lyrics from Mindless Self Indulgence to progressive house with lyrics from ACDC, and is to be released sometime near the end of May. The energy, vibe, and excitement within it is so unreal so why not share it?
