Six Foot Blonde December 18, 2026 Atomic Garage Doors: 7:00PM Show: 8:00PM   Sounds like indie pop/rock from CHI   About: Chicago-based six-piece Six Foot Blonde is a dynamic indie pop/rock band built around frontwoman Julia Rusyniak’s powerhouse vocals, deeply personal songwriting, and a lush blend of indie-rock instrumentation, synth, slide guitar, and three-part harmonies. Originally formed in Bloomington, Indiana during the pandemic as an Indiana University cover band, the group quickly evolved into a tightly knit original project with an ambitious DIY approach to music, touring, and creative direction. Following their acclaimed 2024 debut album Ask Me How I Am, Six Foot Blonde has spent the past two years steadily expanding their national audience through headline tours, festival appearances, and their 2025 Audiotree Live EP. Now, the band is entering its biggest chapter yet with sophomore album Hummingbird, beginning with lead single “Carmilla.” Equal parts catchy and haunting, “Carmilla” introduces a more atmospheric and emotionally charged side of the band while maintaining the infectious energy that has made Six Foot Blonde such an exciting emerging act. With a 16-state headline tour on the horizon and a fully independent album campaign underway, the band is poised for a significant next step in its national growth.
