Sir Eddie C is a Belleville-born, St. Louis-based artist who creates “regular people rap” that’s vivid, cinematic, and full of heart. His 2022 project Gelato explored nostalgia and rebirth through playful visuals and performance art, while Spaceship EP examined ambition and isolation with an interstellar sound. Featured in The St. Louis American, St. Louis Public Radio, and St. Louis Magazine (as the first rapper to solo its cover), he continues to redefine independent artistry in the Midwest.

Held every year in late December, Sir Eddie C & Friends has become St. Louis’ unofficial homecoming, a space where artists, friends and fans gather to close the year in celebration.  Part concert, part creative showcase, and all community, Sir Eddie C & Friends captures that rare in-between energy: family dinners are over, the year is winding down and everyone’s ready to reconnect and celebrate what’s next. 

Curated and headlined by Sir Eddie C, the show embodies his signature mix of world-building and soul.  Now in its 4th year, Sir Eddie C & Friends IV features performances from acclaimed lyricist KV the Writer and rising artist Christopher Lay, in an atmosphere that feels like a family reunion for the city’s creative class.  Expect immersive visuals, unforgettable performances and the unmistakable spirit of a St. Louis celebration.
