Contemporary R&B
Sinead Harnett
Sinead Harnett
Contemporary R&B
Sinéad Harnett is a half Thai- half Irish singer and songwriter known for her soulful voice and emotionally rich blend of R&B, pop, and electronic influences. Born and raised in London, she first gained attention through collaborations with producers such as Disclosure and Snakehips, where her distinctive vocals quickly set her apart. Drawing on
themes of love, identity, and personal growth, Harnett’s music is both intimate and relatable, resonating with a global audience.
Having relocated to Los Angeles during the pandemic, Harnett's artistry has been shaped by an ever-widening pool of influences, and the results are audible across everything she has released since. Her second studio album, Ready Is Always Too Late, arrived in May 2021, featuring collaborations with VanJess, Masego, and Lucky Daye, and earning praise for its cohesive blend of R&B, neo-soul, and contemporary production. The album received
an 8/10 from both Clash and The Line of Best Fit.
Her third album, Boundaries, released in April 2024, is a 16-track introspective journey through personal transformation — exploring past traumas while carving out space for healing, growth, and self-reclamation. Arriving over a decade after her debut and three years since Ready Is Always Too Late, the record is a testament to the depth of Harnett's introspection, with each cut carrying striking emotional resonance. The result is widely considered her best album to date, with reviewers highlighting her elegant, textured vocals paired with organic instrumentation and cohesive, bombastic songwriting. Her breakout single "If You Let Me" has now surpassed 200 million streams across platforms. She has
performed twice on the celebrated COLORS platform-- first for "Body," which has accumulated 25 million views, and again for the soul-searching single "Burn." The subsequent Boundaries Tour took her around the globe with sold-out shows in the US and Europe.
Now firmly established as one of contemporary R&B's most compelling voices, Sinéad Harnett continues to grow, recently performing at the "Unforgettable Awards" in LA. She’s set to release her next single, “Foreign" on June 26th.
