Description
Sinclair Noire: A prominent gothic rock and deathrock trio based out of the "Bat City" underground scene in Austin, Texas. Known for their corrosive, politically charged fusion of darkwave gloom, post-punk, and industrial fury, they bridge the gap between morbid aesthetics and intense, DIY cinematic performance art. Come to Ruin: Descending straight out of the local darkwave and goth subculture, the band channels the raw, atmospheric energy of classic post-punk pioneers like Bauhaus, Christian Death, and Samhain. Their live sets are known for being deeply immersive, utilizing heavy smoke, burning incense, dead roses, and candlelight to cultivate a "straight from the void" aesthetic. Ethanol Merman: What started out as a solo COVID-19 pandemic project by multi-instrumentalist Alex Teetsel evolved into a full live band after he connected with Jack and Hunter while attending Loyola University New Orleans in 2022. Navigating a local college scene dominated by funk and R&B, they carved out a dedicated space in the NOLA DIY alternative community.
