Banachowski is an LA based comedian from Small Town, Michigan. The son of a nurse and auto worker, youngest of three, he started his stand up career winning a high school talent show. He went to a small school for a degree in mathematics to be a teacher, all the while performing stand up and improv around Metro Detroit. He did all of this on top of working jobs ranging from busboy to tutor to dishwasher to television producer to midnight receptionist to landscaper and even maintenance work at a rehab center for nuns. Since 2010, he has lived in NY and LA performing and working odd jobs (including accounting at a synagogue), where he continues his love of educating himself and others as a volunteer tutor for homeless children.
Banachowski is a graduate of Second City Detroit, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and the Groundlings theater in Los Angeles. He has opened for David Alan Grier, Steve Rannazzisi, Paul Reiser, Gilbert Gottfried, Todd Glass, Eddie Ifft, and shared stages with Aziz Ansari, Amy Schumer, Arsenio Hall, Adam Devine, Craig Robinson, and many others.
You can catch him regularly at the Hollywood Improv and Comedy Store in Los Angeles, CA.
