Description
Prince Achmed rides a magical flying horse, falls in love with Princess Pari Banu, and teams up with a powerful witch and Aladdin to defeat an evil sorcerer. Adapting stories from One Thousand and One Nights, this 1926 German silent fantasy film is the oldest surviving feature-length animated film. Lotte Reiniger established many of what are now the standard practices of silhouette animation and her influence is evident as far away as Japan. Stick around for Kanimanji Engi - Tale of Crab Temple (1925)
