About Shine On
Shine On, The Live Pink Floyd Experience has been wowing audiences for twenty years. With its eleven-piece ensemble modeled after Pink Floyd’s last two touring bands, they capture the sonic orchestral soundscape that is the live Pink Floyd experience. Shine On’s passion has been to meticulously craft every detail of Pink Floyd’s music by their seasoned musicians, delivering them with passion and excellence.
To commemorate the 2023 50th anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon, Shine On performed this classic album start to finish. In addition, Dark Side of the Moon their show includes selections of Pink Floyd’s greatest hits and fan favorites from Echoes, Wish You Were Here, Animals, A Momentary Lapse of Reason, The Division Bell, and a compelling medley from the landmark album The Wall as well.
This passionate group of artists, with a genuine appreciation of Pink Floyd’s amazing contribution of awe-inspiring music that has stood the test of time and popularity over many generations, captivates a wide audience, both young and old.
Shine On, not content with the usual moniker of “Tribute Band,” prefer to present themselves as “The Live Pink Floyd Experience”, and with that in mind, each performance is truly an experience to remember. Danny Ray Johnson ( lead vocals, harmonica)) is a local favorite music performer. Best known for a genre of high energy blues tunes. His unique exceptional harmonica style , combined with a very impressive vocal range is always a crowd pleaser!

The best musicians in Southern California always want to surround him with their talent, and this nights show will be no different. Nov 30th 2024 line up includes:

Ricky Lewis ( Guitar, back up vocal) is well known currently for his Eagles tribute band Desperado with a very authentic tone and presentation.

Brian Rosen ( drums) is a power house percussionist with a solid tempo and rhythm. Since his very early years of 7, a natural with many bands seeking his talent currently.

Mark Mora ( bass guitar, back vocals) with his solid playing and low end rumble guaranteed to shake your seat! Past and current bands included TKO late 70’s, Foreplay 80’s, and now with Ronny North, Tricia Freeman.

Jimmy Seville ( keyboards, backing vocal) is one of the best anywhere. Performing with many Hall of Fame and Motown artists, Mitch Ryder, Gary US Bonds, Little Anthony, Cannibal & The Headhunters, just to name a few.

" Huntington Henry ", the name came from being a surf reporter back in the early KROQ 106.7FM days with Richard Blade and The Poorman's morning radio show 1980's. Playing acoustic guitar since mostly age 9 being in many gigging bands on lead electric guitar and vocals through out the many years since then, original and cover.
Recently still playing in bands, but mostly playing acoustic guitar at restaurants for dinner, street fairs, private events, hotels etc. Most song's included in the sets are from 1950's 60's 70's 80's 90's and a few up to date.
Growing up being a big Led Zeppelin fan, I naturally picked up some of their songs, and people seem to like them a lot!
