Stand-up
As a multi - ethnic, stand-up comedian, Shawn Felipe believes that comedy is derived from real life. Shawn always tries to find humor in various situations, even the toughest of struggles he has encountered so far in life. He believes God has blessed him, so that, regardless of the problems or challenges he faces, he can laugh at them and help others see the humor in them as well.
Shawn was born in Victorville, Calif. but raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Theatrical Arts and TV production. Shawn's stand-up comedy acts have been featured on various networks, including "Worldasia TV," "AZN TV," "AZN TV," IA TV," "The Filipino Channel," "Sprint Comedy-Time Network" and "National Lampoon Comedy Radio."
Besides his experience in stand-up comedy, Shawn also has forayed into the acting industry. He has appeared in TV shows, indie films and commercials- Budlight, Pizza Hut and Pocari Sweat, to name a few- and has guest starred in "Hawaii," NBC's cop TV series. Shawn has also performed with many acclaimed comedians such as Russell Peters, Anjelah Johnson and Jokoy.
