FITZGERALDS NIGHTCLUB PRESENTS: Shadowcaster does WEEZER! $20 GA / Reserved Tables Available  It’s getting to be a bit of a habit for these Shadow Caster folks perhaps. These musicians have been celebrating the catalogs of some of their favorite bands from the 80s, 90s and 00’s with seemingly no end in sight, including but certainly not limited to concerts covering The Cure, The Pixies (twice no less!!) Smashing Pumpkins, and now their biggest hurdle lay before them: WEEZER!  Allow these pros to guide you effortlessly through a full reading of The Blue Album front to back, top to bottom, and many other highlights from Pinkerton, Green Album and other select high water marks. These early albums struck deeply within the hearts of these men and these are the focus for this show. Attendance is mandatory. No exceptions accepted. Shadow Caster is a loose collection of rascals, shredders, burners, bartenders, painters and thieves. Allen Epley (Shiner/Life and Times), Stephen Howard (PineBender/Ambulette) and Brandon RIos (Mike Lust band) are our full-time casters of shadows, and this time they’ve partnered with bassist Graham McLaughlin (Electric Hawk) and drummer Mike Hussa to fill out this line up for this vaunted Weezing event. Four of the five people here were also musicians employed by the BlueManGroup in Chicago (RIP) for many years, not as BlueMen but playing in the house band floating above the stage (no bald caps or blue paint needed for these fellows). So they know show craft!  So put down that HashPipe (for once), put on your your horn rimmed glasses and wear your heart on your sleeve.  Jonas, Buddy Holly, Mary Tyler Moore are waxing up their boards to bring you a Holiday that would otherwise be found Only In Dreams.
