John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, and Paco de Lucía kicked off the world music phenomenon all those years ago, and sparks are sure to fly when these three modern-day virtuosos pick up the mantle and bring their lightning-fast technical prowess to WOW Hall on Friday, January 10. The six-string masters are led by international guitar sensation Alex Skolnick of metal titans Testament, Brooklyn-based seven-string virtuoso Ron Jackson, and American Gypsy Jazz star George Cole, former guitarist for the David Grisman Quintet. The SFNY Guitar Trio specializes in jaw-dropping original compositions while paying homage to their six-string forebears.
