*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Seva Venet sponsored by Jazz Foundation of America Seva Venet is a New Orleans–based guitarist, composer, and bandleader whose genre-blending style spans modern jazz, funk, rock, and experimental improvisation. An adventurous and expressive player, Venet has performed and collaborated with artists including George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Deven Trusclair, and Dave Easley, earning recognition as a versatile presence in the city’s vibrant music community. Whether leading his own projects or contributing to forward-thinking ensembles, Venet brings a distinctive voice rooted in New Orleans tradition while continually pushing toward new sonic territory.
