Sean Hobbes & The Hi Res is an indie-soul collective born in New Orleans, blending soaring vocals, tight grooves, and a brass-fueled energy that feels both timeless and new. With roots in Philadelphia and a sound shaped by the city’s clubs, they fuse soul, pop, and rock into music that moves bodies and hearts alike.
Kyle Alexander is a creative expressionist whose artistry transmits as a performer, songwriter, and poet. After making his official music debut with the 2024 lead single “Blue Moon,” the DMV-raised and New Orleans-based artist released his first EP, STAR-CROSSED, in August 2025, and made his French Quarter Fest debut in April 2026. Central to the project is the belief that expressions of Black joy and whimsy are acts of resistance. STAR-CROSSED is Kyle Alexander’s deeply groovy invitation to join him as he embraces the unknown and the what-could-be
badoutfit is stitched from the fabrics of west coast pop and east coast indie, soaked in the swamps of the south. throughout their time at loyola university in new orleans, four dudes connected on their love for the early 2000s and materialized their laid back characteristics into a sonic getaway. their hypnotic melodies, waves of harmony, and infectious pulse are all sewn together into a piece that anyone can wear.
