Sandi Fernandez & the Beacon Hill-Billies

    Americana

Sandi Fernandez is a singer songwriter currently based in Seattle, WA.  Her powerful raw voice and catchy melodies deliver toe tapping grooves to her audiences.  Influenced by folk music of the 60s, 90s alternative music, and modern indie music; her style is reminiscent of artists such as The Decemberists, The Lumineers, and Neutral Milk Hotel.

She draws upon the deep connection with her family to write music that reflects the love and challenges that come from these formative relationships.  Her music explores the pain of loss, the beauty of love, and the importance of home.  She wraps it all up into a melody driven belting style of Americana music.

    Joseph Dane

    Alternative Rock

Joseph Dane was born into a musical family and began singing and performing at a very early age. Some of his earliest memories are busking on the street in Japan and performing in schools and orphanages in India and Mexico. His parents were traveling hippy missionaries who spent over 20 years traveling through Asia and Latin America with their ten children. Joseph was born in Japan and also spent time in India, the Philippines, South Korea, and Mexico.

Joseph began playing the guitar at age 11 and writing songs at age 19, but after his family left the wandering life behind and settled down in Oregon, Joseph put music on the back burner to go to college and study computer science, eventually moving to New York and working for companies like Adobe and Standard and Poor’s.

After a successful, but unsatisfying career in software development, Joseph Dane dropped out of the corporate life in 2012 and moved to Mexico to focus on music full-time, becoming the lead singer of a classic rock band, and performing solo with his guitar, while continuing to pursue his life-long obsession with Latin music. During this time, his songwriting developed its characteristic style – thoughtful, but playful lyrics with a fun, mellow vibe, a Latin rhythmic feel, and soulful vocals.

After almost 4 years of traveling around Mexico and the US, Joseph has returned to the Pacific Northwest to bring his warm, tropical-influenced sound to a northern audience.

    Humble Urchin

    Funk

Humble Urchin is a Seattle based music project led by singer-songwriter and musician Michael Hutchins. Drawing from a diverse range of musical styles and influences, Humble Urchin's music spans multiple genres while retaining a common thread of melodic guitar work, strong songwriting, and poetic, emotive lyrics.

Although born and raised in Canada, Michael has spent much of his life living in the United States. His songwriting reflects the many experiences he's had along the way, dealing with themes of loss, hope, relationships, living as a drifter, and more.

Humble Urchin's live shows range from solo acoustic performances by Michael, to ones with a full backing band (and everything in between). They can be found playing the Seattle area frequently, and are in the process of recording a debut EP.
