a school night has never felt like this. we’re taking over three top lounge and turning it into one of the best latin dance floors in the city. we start with a beginner lesson. walk in having never danced salsa and you’ll be moving within the hour. you don’t need a partner, we rotate you through the room so you meet half the floor before the lesson is over. after that the floor opens and stays open late. this one is a stop light party. grab a wristband at the door for your status: * green: single * yellow: just here to dance * red: taken one glance across the floor and you’ll know who to ask. come solo. a lot of people do. a few minutes in, you’ll have already danced with five strangers and forgotten you were nervous about any of it.
