Salem’s Bend is a Los Angeles-based heavy rock trio with musical influences that run the gamut from '70s classic rockers to modern heavy-hitters in the desert, doom, psych and stoner rock scenes. Having cut their teeth in different bands around LA for several years, they self-released their debut album on Bandcamp in the tail-end of December 2015. The album garnered some early praise at heavy music blogs, with one reviewer commenting, "You want dynamics? Salem’s Bend is practically a liquid. 'Dynamics' is just a buzz word until it’s wielded by these sprightly upstarts." The album caught the ear of Ripple Music, who signed them and re-released their debut record worldwide in October 2016.
Salem's Bend has been tearing up the local scene since their inaugural West Coast tour in 2016 and hasn't slowed down yet. They've shredded the road for over 40,000 miles with tours and festivals around the US every year, including a sold-out SXSW showcase, Desertfest London 2019 + European tour, Psycho Las Vegas 2022, RippleFest Texas 2022, and more. Their sophomore album was released by Ripple Music in 2019 to solid praise, with Metal Injection saying "Hardened by countless shows across the west coast, Supercluster is tighter and more explosive than anything the band has done before," selling out before the year was done. 2023 is shaping up with new music, festivals, and more!

In 2020, a year wrecked with cultural dissent and a global pandemic, fellow musicians and long-time friends Garrett Zanol and Ian Nelson decided to create a band that would pull influence from a few of their favorite musical acts. After retaining the talents of their favorite local drummer Chase Howard, the group got to work on writing an album that illustrates their current climate.
Kadabra from Spokane, Washington U.S., delivers the eerie psyche crawl of acts like Dead Meadow and the heavy fuzzed riff grime of Black Sabbath. In fall the of 2020, they tracked their debut album with Dawson Scholz, and it is set to release this fall on Heavy Psych Sounds Records.

Stoner Metal
Mountain Tamer takes the expansive vision of pure psychedelia and pares it down through the brooding and focused lens of doom and stoner rock. Guitarist/vocalist Andrew Hall, drummer Casey Garcia and bassist Dave Teget, formed their signature fusion of heavy psych rock in 2011 just outside of San Francisco. Now based in Los Angeles, Mountain Tamer's cult following is built on their DIY ethics, inimitable songwriting, and in your face live performances. After self-releasing several demos, the band released their s/t debut album in 2016 on Argonauta Records. Mountain Tamer toured heavily following the release, playing with notable acts along the way such as Fatso Jetson, Weedeater and Dead Meadow. In 2018, Mountain Tamer teamed with Magnetic Eye and Nasoni Records to release their sophomore album, Godfortune// Dark Matters to critical acclaim for its unique approach and genre bending aesthetics. The band rode this success to a full US tour and appearances at SXSW in 2019. The band quickly followed up with a taste of their upcoming album, Psychosis Ritual, with their single, Death in the Woods. Although only a teaser of their next work, it has quickly become a fan favorite.
