RUMBO TUMBA is the electroacoustic music project of Argentine multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Facundo Salgado, who has captivated audiences worldwide for over 12 years, touring more than 30 countries on all continents.
A craftsman of organic loops, a one-man band; performing, recording, and mixing a variety of handcrafted South American instruments in real time. Rumbo Tumba's live sets feature an impressive array of wooden instruments with which he constructs a unique natural sound and an atmosphere that transports listeners to the purest places in nature. Loop-based compositions highlight the beauty of traditional folk roots and delicately employ cutting-edge digital tools to project South American folklore into the future.
With an independent discography that includes numerous singles, 4 EPs, and 2 LPs, RUMBO TUMBA has reached over 250,000 monthly listeners worldwide, with songs with millions of streams. Terror/Cactus is the digital folklore and psychedelic electro-cumbia project of Martín Selasco. Born in Buenos Aires and raised in Miami, the Seattle-based producer draws from a wide variety of Latin-American influences in his productions including Argentine folk, Peruvian chicha, and Colombian cumbia. These influences are woven into hypnotic electronic beats featuring psychedelic guitars, dub lasers, and field recordings.
