Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press is a sodium rich cover band that plays fun songs to which you can dance n’ sing along. From The Beatles, to Madonna, to Les Misables- we like to play a wide spectrum of songs that mirror our world and existence (which at times can be both confusing, yet beautiful). We combine “competent” musicianship, “bone-crushing” 3-part-harmonies, and “interesting” song choices- to provide the audience with an experience away from which they can not willingly look. We’re very flexible- both literally, and figuratively. We can (and enjoy) playing everywhere from grown-up bars n’ clubs, to family-friendly festivals n’ weddings (we play LOTS of weddings!
