Michaella Carrera is a South Bay native singer/songwriter.   "My favorite part in music with lyrics is the honesty. Well, at least, with true artists that aren't scrambling around for the next big buck or singing about the booty. I love hearing what a true artist has on their heart. I love reading between the lines and trying to decipher what's situation the author was in that inspired them to create their song. A song is a manifestation of the soul, I truly believe that, and that's what I try to create with my music. I consider the songs I write as my personal diary for the world to hear; it's a very vulnerable thing to perform, but I've experienced how being completely candid with your lyrics speak deeper to those who listen. I live to make those kinds of connections with people.”

No Fools Here is a band from Inglewood, CA. The band is a project that has been formed from members playing Christian music at a local Lutheran Church in the city. Band members Ron Ferrer and Carlos Cortez played together in a band from San Pedro performing at different venues in the South Bay area. In the last two years, Cortez teamed up with band members Adan Guzman, Manny Munoz, and Jessie Sevillano to record several Christian songs for their church. From that point, they began recording original songs that can be categorized as modern pop. After recording several songs, everyone agreed to get together and form a band.   The newly formed band began practicing cover songs while trying to figure out a purpose for the project. At the same time, they continued recording and once the original songs began to evolve, the band decided to share their music with the world. No Fools Here plays music from the heart. Their songs are genuine and express feelings that can relate and identify with anyone. Its members are passionate about their trade and music is a big influence in their lives. No Fools Here strives to connect with their audience and provide a good time through music.
