"Each generation of jazz players includes at least a few epoch-defining pianists, and right now, we’re living in the age of Robert Glasper." - John Rogers: chicagoreader.com Robert Glasper is the leader of a new paradigm in jazz, with a career that spans musical and artistic genres, winning 3 Grammys and 6 nominations across 5 categories, as well as an Emmy for his song on Ava Duvernay’s doc “13th".   Glasper has worked with Artists as diverse as the late Roy Hargrove, Mos Def, Kendrick Lamar and Carly Simon, to name a few. As a leader, he has worked with his acoustic trio and The Robert Glasper Experiment For Don Cheadle’s 2016 Miles Davis biopic, Miles Ahead, the pianist curated the soundtrack and wrote original music, which included contributions from Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, and Gary Clark, Jr.  Scullers Jazz Club’s Boathouse 400 restaurant rekindles the magic of the great supper clubs with our Dinner and Show Package that enlivens all of the senses. The 3 course menu features a diverse selection of appetizers, entrees, desserts and one glass of house wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage. For a nominal fee, guests can upgrade their beverage selection.  The menu changes seasonally to ensure only the freshest ingredients are used!
