Rob Leines
"Won't find me on the radio, no late-night TV show / You'll find us in a smokey bar somewhere on the go," he sings in "Rock & Roll Honky Tonk Life," a celebration of the roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic that's steered his entire career. A longtime welder who spent years working in the oil and gas industries along the Pacific Coast, followed by a traveling gig repairing components of turbine engines at power plants across the world, Leines understands the value of long days and hard work.

Blood Sweat and Beers is the product of that same perseverance, written and recorded after his long climb from the dive bars of California where Leines played some of his earliest shows, giving up his metalworking gig in order to pull triple-duty as the frontman, lead guitarist, and booking agent of his own power trio to cross-country gigs, national acclaim, opening slots for country legends like Dwight Yoakam and Whiskey Myers. Blood Sweat and Beers is country music with a blue-collar rock & roll pulse — a sound that blurs the lines between genres, one amped-up anthem at a time.

Whiskey West
Whiskey West combines the sounds of outlaw country, blues and bluegrass to create an edgy, toe tapping, good time acoustic honky-tonk sound. Kinda like if Johnny Cash & June Carter adopted a freight train, gave it some acoustic instruments and a drum kit asked Tom Waits to conduct the combo and said "play something that swings."

Diggin' Trails
Ex-members of Santa Cruz favorite, Tater Famine, realized it was time to get together and play music again. The result? A new americana, folk band - Diggin' Trails.

This Old Horse
From raucous danceable grooves to sweet heart melting ballads, This Old Horse features the exhilarating vocals of Sarah Robinson, Chase Larue’s musical Midas touch on banjo, Jay Smith’s firm grip on the standup bass, Dan Berman’s sparkling mandolin lines, and Everett Touse’s grizzled introspective rhythm guitar. Hide your whiskey and cover your grass, This Old Horse is galloping to a honkytonk near you!

Blood Sweat and Beers doubles down on the raw, rowdy stomp of Leines' live show. Recorded with Leines' live band, Blood Sweat and Beers is a snapshot of a frontman in forward motion: his chops sharpened by a touring schedule that's kept him on the road for years, and his songs aimed somewhere between the listener's head, heart, and dancing shoes. “It’s hard for me to sit still” These songs encourage the audience to keep moving, too. Blood Sweat and Beers is country music with a blue-collar rock & roll pulse — a sound that blurs the lines between genres, one amped-up anthem at a time.

Born on the 4th of July in 2020, This Old Horse was formed when five Santa Cruz musicians gathered together in a run-down West Side garage next to a chicken yard. The band quickly took inspiration from the waves crashing, chickens clucking and rats scuffling to render their unique brand of outlaw country, a gritty down-home blend of covers and originals.

From raucous danceable grooves to sweet heart melting ballads, This Old Horse features the exhilarating vocals of Sarah Robinson, Chase Larue’s musical Midas touch on banjo, Jay Smith’s firm grip on the standup bass, Dan Berman’s sparkling mandolin lines, and Everett Touse’s grizzled introspective rhythm guitar.
