The Push Push sound like Otis Redding meets the White Stripes. They're a four piece rock and soul band from Chicago. The songs are originals. The live show is just that a show, not a quiet concert for contemplation, but a full force expressive performance. It's a good time. Earlier this year The Push Push released their debut album Teeth, available now on CD and streaming.
Muggsy is a conglomerate of blues-rock with 90’s alternative influence. The trio consists of Tom Wierzbinski (guitar, vocals) and Jeremy Bear (drums) who have been playing together since their high school days in Bear’s parent’s basement. After years of playing together Wierzbinski and Bear put on the search for some low-end and found the individual with the best bass player name in the Chicagoland area, Manny Jones (bass). The three have been recording and bringing their raw rock sound to West Chicago since 2013.
