    Revocation

    Heavy Metal

Boston, MA trio Revocation is comprised of vocalist/guitarist David Davidson, vocalist/bassist Anthony Buda, and drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne -- all of whom showcase incredible dexterity at their chosen instruments, even by heavy metal standards, and came together as a group in 2005. Armed with a super-technical thrash/death metal style prizing virtuosity as much as heaviness and aggression, the group soon began attracting A&R men from numerous labels with their self-released Summon the Spawn EP (2006) and Empire of the Obscene album (2008). They eventually decided to sign with Relapse Records, and delivered their second full-length, Existence Is Futile, in September 2009, also to very positive reviews., Rovi

    A Life Once Lost

    Heavy Metal

Originally formed in 1999, Philadelphia's A Life Once Lost joined a rapidly growing fraternity of metalcore bands (Converge, God Forbid, Killswitch Engage, to name but a few) spread across the U.S. Eastern Seaboard -- over the next few years, these groups helped define the so-called New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Featuring vocalist Robert Meadows, guitarists Robert Carpenter and Douglas Sabolick, bassist Nick Frasca, and drummer Justin Graves, their releases include 2000's Open Your Mouth for the Speechless... LP, and 2003's A Great Artist LP and The Fourth Plague: Flies EP. Those last two albums not only snagged the guys tours with Throwdown, Breather Resist, Dead to Fall, and more, but also the attention of Nora's Carl Severson. He eventually signed the band to Ferret Music, which then released the LP Hunter in 2005. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi

    Meek Is Murder

    Heavy Metal

MEEK IS MURDER was the solo project of MIKE KELLER that started back in 2005. Over the next few years Keller toured in bands NAME (Lifeforce Records) followed by THE RED CHORD (Metal Blade Records) but continued to work on Meek in his limited spare time. At the end of 2007, Keller completed MOSQUITO EATER, the first Meek is Murder EP, containing 9 songs and clocking in at just under 13 minutes.

In late 2008, Keller parted ways with The Red Chord and took a break from touring full-time to focus on Meek is Murder. Keller knew FRANK GODLA (also drummer of EMPYREON) from his work on METAL INJECTION and found bass player SAM BRODSKY by good old fashioned auditioning. Meek is Murder live is something to be experienced. Their homemade light show is not safe for the epileptic and as described by BROOKLYN VEGAN their "tech-y screamo is highly energetic and powerful in the live setting, featuring a moshing bass player and a spastic frontman."

Meek is Murder began steadily building a fan base in and around Brooklyn and New York City in 2009. By 2011, Meek was ready to record their first full length album as a complete band with KURT BALLOU (Converge). ALAN DOUCHES (Mastodon, Dillinger Escape Plan) handled mastering duties. "Algorithms" was released digitally via popular metal blog METAL SUCKS on 3/22/11 and on vinyl by GRANITE HOUSE RECORDS on 7/31/12. Algorithms was praised as one of the best records of the year by American Aftermath, Metal Injection, Gun Shy Assassin, MetalSucks, and Plymouth State University (not kidding).

Throughout 2011-2012, Meek is Murder toured extensively throughout the US, including two consecutive visits to Austin's SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST and New York City's CMJ festival, tours with Canadian grind legends, FUCK THE FACTS, ARGONAUTS (Burnt By The Sun), prog masters EAST OF THE WALL, and a few DIY tours with NYC hardcore heroes, TIGER FLOWERS. They've played  support for PERIPHERY, ALL PIGS MUST DIE, GAZA, TOUCHE AMORE, KVELERTAK, THE FACELESS, POWERGLOVE, WORMROT, and many more along the way .

In October 2012, Meek is Murder recorded a sci-fi themed EP titled "Into The Sun Where It Falls Off The Sky" with Engineer Kevin Antreassian (Dillinger Escape Plan, Mike Portnoy) and Producer Jesse Korman (singer of The Number 12 Looks Like You).
