Rend Collective have built a career on the conviction that worship is something you do, not something you attend.
The band came together among friends in Bangor, on the coast of Northern Ireland, playing in living rooms and on beaches long before anyone was listening — folk instruments passed hand to hand, and a conviction that the room should be singing louder than the stage.
“Build Your Kingdom Here,” “My Lighthouse” and “Counting Every Blessing” are sung by congregations across the country most Sundays. The band have passed a billion global streams, taken multiple albums to No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian chart, and earned a 2026 Dove nomination for their album Folk! Back home in Britain and Ireland they remain a fixture, with four singles reaching the UK Christian top ten inside a year.
Chris Llewellyn, Steve Mitchell, Jonathan Chu and Daniel Jones still hold that celebration is a holy act, and that joy is worth making a racket about.
