Cardboard Castle and Resilience Therapy & Wellness invites you to Red and Wild: a curated Pride Summer celebration for the LGBTQ+ community!
This is more than a party. It is an intentional gathering built around authentic connection and community. Guests will enjoy guided mingling games designed to spark real conversation and new friendships, themed cocktail specials, games, and a food truck on site!
We STRONGLY encourage your most fabulous, most extra, most unapologetically red and wild attire. A costume contest will be held and prizes will be awarded to the most jaw-dropping look of the afternoon. Don’t come to play. Come to WIN.
Ages: 21+ only
History Behind the Theme:
In the classic LGBTQIA film "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar," three drag queens who descend upon small-town America build connection, community, and trust with the residents of a small rural town. At the end of the film, the three queens, played by Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo, help the residents settle on the theme, Red and Wild, for their annual Strawberry Social. Historically, the color red is also worn by members of the LGBTQIA community for gay days at Disney World each June. So come in your own "Red and Wild" attire for a social event to remember, celebrating connection, community, and most importantly, FUN in a safe and inclusive environment for all.
