    Latin Jazz

    A highly active musician and creator, Rachel Therrien is currently preparing the release of Mi Hogar II with her Latin Jazz Project, scheduled for March 7, 2025, under the Lulaworld Records label.

    Trumpeter, composer, self-producer (8 solo albums), and producer (4 albums), she has built a reputation as an internationally acclaimed artist, standing out for her versatility and unique instinct for musical innovation. Nominated at ADISQ for the albums Mi Hogar and VENA, at the JUNOs for her fifth album VENA (which received four stars from Downbeat), and at the GRAMMYs for Virtual Birdland by the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, Rachel is a renowned musician.

    Beyond her personal projects, she has shared the stage with major artists such as Ron Carter, Jon Faddis, Tony Allen, Arturo O’Farrill, Roberto Fonseca, and many more. She is also a member of several ensembles, including The Ostara Project, DIVA Jazz Orchestra, Canadian National Jazz Orchestra, and Liquor Store Big Band, in addition to teaching for the Jazz House Kids program in New York.
