Drummer, composer, artist, poet, dancer, visionary, nature mystic, "Ra Kalam" Bob Moses' life has been a continuous quest for vision, spirit, compassion, growth, and mastery in a multiplicity of art forms. As a composer, he has arranged and produced countless albums for himself and others, many of which have been hailed by critics worldwide. The albums "Bittersuite in the Ozone," "Time Stood Still" and "Love Everlasting" (the latter recorded with guitar genius Tisziji Munoz) all received five stars by Downbeat Magazine.   According to Moses, Ra-Kalam means: “the inaudible sound of the invisible sun.” Moses conducts drum workshops across the US and Europe. A partial list of stellar musicians he has worked and/or recorded with both as a leader and a sideman includes: Charles Mingus, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Dave Liebman, Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny, Carla and Paul Bley, Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius, Randy Brecker, Bobby McFerrin, Bill Frisell, John Scofield, Danilo Perez, Chucho Valdes, Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, John Medeski, Vernon Reid, DJ Logic, Pharoah Sanders, Tisziji Muñoz, and many others.  "Living Music: A Film About Ra Kalam Bob Moses" is a documentary on Bob's life work currently in the making and due out soon.  Tonight, Ra Kalam Bob Moses presents The Heart Breath Ensemble, featuring:  Ra-Kalam Bob Moses - drums  Bill Summers - percussion Aaron Gonzales - bass  Chris Alford - guitar  Tony Dagradi - saxophone  Jeff Coffin - saxophone  Michael Adkins - saxophone  Art Edmaiston - saxophone Shows at 8pm & 10pm.  Doors at 7:00pm & 9:30pm.  Restuarant is Open 5pm - 10:30pm for dinner before or after your showtime: Advance Ticket Holders can now automatically make dinner table reservations for the Dining Room online via OpenTable.com ! Advance Ticket-Holders can also make table reservations for dinner by Emailing info@snugjazz.com after your tickets have been purchased online. Dinner Service without Advance Concert Tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Full Bar is Open 5pm - Midnight for all, on show nights, with or without tickets.  Kind Reminder:  Snug Harbor does NOT serve food inside the Music Room. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.

ALL CONCERT TICKET SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. However, we do offer ticket transfers from one name to another, provided you email us your e-ticket confirmation and the name(s) you would like your ticket(s) transferred to via shows@snugjazz.com before 5pm on day of show, or sooner. You can also choose to gift your ticket(s) to our New Orleans Music Student Program where un-claimed tickets are offered to young music students and/or rising musician apprentices, if you cannot use your ticket(s). We can also transfer tickets from one show TIME to another on the SAME DATE ONLY, *provided space is available* at the time of your request. You must email shows@snugjazz.com before 5pm on day of show with your request. Tickets are NOT transferrable to a different artist/date.
