The 90s Unplugged featuring Nirvana and more    The 90s Unplugged is an evening featuring the best songs of the era reimagined for an intimate setting.  The heartbreaking haunting melodies of Nirvana, Mazzy Star, Fionna Apple, Chris Cornell, Lauryn Hill, Radiohead, and Smashing Pumpkins (just to name a few) are performed and arranged by a top-shelf group of Chicago musicians. More than just a cover show, this is a program that explores the songwriting and poetry of the era where you can sing along and bask in the nostalgia, yet also walk away with a deeper appreciation of the artistry of the moment in music.  Band includes local legend Matt Walker,  who has played with Smashing Pumpkins, Morrissey, Liz Phair, & Garbage, etc.,  Billy Bungeroth who has the pleasure of sharing the stage with Jeff Tweedy, Kim and Kelly Deal, Cory Glover of Living Colour,  etc.  and Elisa Latrice (Chicago Soul Spectacular, Natalie Bergman). Presented by PurerSoul.
