Emanating from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, this group of killers root their approach to the new wave of funk rock in a refined knowledge of jazz fusion techniques and theories- but this is not just a show for jazz kids. With high flying guitar solos and soaring vocals, all rooted in a groove that is anything but restrained, Pump Action honors the breakneck motion of their funk forefathers to make it simply impossible for an audience to stand still.     Under High Street is a compelling trio composed of drummer Evan Flagel, guitarist Beauman Hartrum, and bassist/lead singer Dylan Brackis. Initially rooted in Oxford, OH, and having nurtured a supportive local music scene, the band is now embracing a new chapter in Nashville, TN. Known for their unique and energetic performances, they strive to create music that explores different genres to push the boundaries of indie rock.
