Walter Etc. is the long-running California clan of Dustin Cole Hayes and childhood friends. Evolving out of their bedroom folk project, Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra, Walter Etc. blends 90’s punk energy with intimate folk confessionals and literate indie rock. Over nearly two decades, Walter Etc. and Walter Mitty have built a devoted cult following through relentless DIY touring, raw honest songwriting, and a catalog that shifts effortlessly between full band anthems and lofi acoustic moments. Whether full band or solo, Walter Etc. is an experience that is equal parts cathartic, fun, and life-affirming.
