Dubbed “Two Extraordinary musicians who play with true heart and a rare sensitivity” (Dr. Elizabeth Gerbi) KD Music is a Mid-Hudson Valley based acoustic duo, composed of Dan Stevens, guitarist and Krista Libertino, vocalist. Krista’s warm ethereal vocals are a perfect match with Dan's masterful and emotive guitar playing. Audiences enjoy their stripped down, lyric driven takes on an eclectic mix of repertoire that ranges from jazz standards to today's top 40 and everything in between… 

Dan Stevens has a masters degree in classical guitar performance and is an experienced teacher and performer of a variety of styles including classical & fingerstyle acoustic guitar. He has been a faculty member at Dutchess Community College since 2008. 

He is a member of the Mid-Hudson Classical Guitar Society and works at promoting appreciation of the classical music genre in the Hudson Valley. 

Dan has released many compact discs, mostly classical guitar but also including original compositions and christmas music. He has performed in various rock bands and currently plays as a soloist in addition to his acoustic duo project with Krista Libertino. 

Krista Libertino is a versatile vocalist and voice teacher with over 25 years of experience singing everything from Gregorian chant, to the music of smash hit musicals like “Les Miserables” and the iconic works of singers like Ella Fitzgarld and Lady Gaga.
