Indie Rock
Summer School may be the newest kids on the block, but they are no strangers to the limelight. Joseph Carag was a seasoned songwriter for indie duo Ragamuffs, writing catchy melodies like 'Lainey, Lainey' and 'Sunset Chaser' while Legend Pham spent several years touring the country in a pop punk band, which included performances on the Vans Warped Tour. Carag and Pham were linked through pop producer Cameron Kuwada in Los Angeles, CA and soon after, decided to form a band in the Pacific Northwest. The duo then, recruited bassist Graham Whyte from Vancouver, BC, drummer Andrew Chegash from Apex, NC and vocalist Anuv Gupta from Sunnyvale, CA to round out the group. The five-piece, Seattle based band released their debut single 'Sweet Tea' in August 2024, and has plans on releasing an EP at the end of the year.

Slough (pronounced "Sluff") is a Pacific Northwest-based alternative rock band that blends heavy, driving rhythms with ambient sonic textures and deeply reflective lyricism. Formerly known as The Purgatives, the band’s new name—referencing the verb for a snake shedding its skin—signals a deliberate creative transformation and a commitment to evolution.Anchored by atmospheric indie-rock foundations and an ambient grittiness, Slough delivers a powerful, immersive sound that is both texturally rich and intensely energetic. Jake Curran's debut album, Purgative Ways, serves as a defining blueprint for their music, capturing a raw emotionality that seamlessly translates from intimate acoustic performances into an expansive, full-band live experience.
