Hood County Children’s Charity Fund is kickin’ off our 7th Annual “Pickin’ in the Pasture” concert on Saturday, June 13th at the iconic Warren’s Backyard.  Red Dirt legend Cody Canada and The Departed will headline the show.  Other guests include local guys The Shane Brooks Band, Josh Kennedy, and Hank Hansen. General Admission tickets are now on sale for $50.  Sponsorships are available and include VIP seating, advertising at the event, and other benefits.     Your support attending the concert has a lasting impact as Hood County students will return to school in August 2026.  We provide clothing and shoes to children going back to school so they can enter the classroom feeling confident, as well as school supplies and backpacks through our Operation Back to School project.  Funds raised will also help restock closets located on every Hood County school campus that students can utilize when an extreme need is identified during the school day by counselors and teachers.  Last year, HCCCF clothed over 1,500 students heading into the school year at the cost of $90,000.  We also provided over $20,000 to graduating seniors attending trade schools and who exhibit significant financial need.     For questions, please email hcchildren@gmail.com    For sponsorships, call Scott Bradley at 817-219-1459
