The Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival presents “Womanhood: An American Horror Story.” This staged reading series features new plays and monologues from local woman playwrights that showcase the witchy, the eerie, the supernatural, the horrors of being a woman today…because spooky season is never over for women…   The presented readings are: “The Roast” by Julie Zaffarano “Chapters of Scary” by Anjoli Santiago “Eff the Dallas Cowboys” by Tamanya Garza “EGG” by Sarah Ochocki “Blood in a Box” by Paper Doll Ensemble “How the Witches Came” by Kate Brennan   About The Philly Women’s Theatre Fest: PWTF fosters and encourages women in the performing arts by offering unique opportunities for exposure, professional, artistic and personal development and a platform for performance.
