Peach Cooler
Indie Pop
Retro, sun-soaked surf rock with banter for days, Peach Cooler is the sound of Southern California through and through. The band has made their name on both coasts playing songs that have something to say. All the while, delivering those songs with the nostalgia of 60's surf culture and the musical nods of modern day indie rock and soul. Peach Cooler's on stage banter is a staple of their live performances, ranging from making up on-the-spot songs about audience members to forcing their bassist to talk about his deep knowledge of the Pyramids, you never know what nonsense will reveal itself at a Peach show.
Dancing, banter and a group of musicians having a good time on stage is what you can expect from a Peach Cooler show.

Sun Burnette has become a creative home for us. A space where we can fully explore and express our artistry. Through our work, we often find ourselves unpacking personal and collective stories that many can relate to. Each one of us infuses our unique musical background and life experiences into forming the band’s unique sound. Marj brings lush piano textures and synth-based soundscapes that transport listeners, while crafting emotion-driven melodies. Anette uses her voice to shape the narrative and emotional tone of each track, delivering lyrics that are both grounded and expansive. Connor creates a solid foundation for the songs to be built and then elevate each song with creative, musical drum parts and rhythms.
Our songwriting often explores themes like the queer experience, mental health, social and political critique, love, and loss. To us, art, politics, and self-expression are inseparable, so why wouldn’t we write about the world around us? Sonically, we live somewhere in the realm of indie pop and indie rock, pulling inspiration from the nostalgia of the ’90s and 2000s, as well as elements of R&B, synth pop, and dream pop. We’re inspired by artists like Japanese Breakfast and IV of Spades, along with classic bands like Fleetwood Mac, Fanny, and Mazzy Star, each of whom has shaped how we think about sound, storytelling, and identity.

New to the music scene of San Diego, Lazy Otter began as an idea and a few homemade posters tacked up around town. What started as a call for jam sessions among strangers quickly grew into a 4 piece band that blends the laid-back spirit of the coast with the loving energy of the flower power era.
Lazy Otter weaves together rock, jam, indie, and folk influences into a sound that feels unique but familiar. Their shows are both free-flowing and intentional with improvisational jams that keep every performance unique.
Drawing inspiration from artists like The Growlers, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and The Doors. The band embraces a groovy psychedelic rock sound -- crafting poetic song lyrics that force the listener to think.
