SHOW DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE Blues Rock Guitar Legends THE PAT TRAVERS BAND Continue To Push Themselves To New Heights Pat Travers - Guitar & Vocals David Pastorius - Bass Alex Petrosky - Drums Canadian born Pat Travers may be best known for his hits “Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)”, ” Snortin’ Whiskey” and “I La La La Love You” from the “Valley Girls” film soundtrack. But it’s his live show and superior guitar work that earned him legions of loyal fans since he burst onto the international rock scene in the late 1970’s. With one of Rock’s most impressive catalogs, Pat has released an album almost every year from 1976 through 2022. Pat’s time on Polydor Records, from his 1976 debut through his 1984 release “Hot Shot,” netted seven Top 200 chart placements (all but one in the upper half) and two Top 40 singles. Subsequently, he placed four singles in the Hot 100, and two more -- including 1981's "New Age Music" and 1984's "Killer" in the upper rungs of the Mainstream Rock Songs charts. Known for his hard, edgy tone, rough and rowdy vocals and “Guitar God” instrumental prowess, Pat is one of rock & roll's true road warriors who has toured for more than 40 years. Pat Travers is one of the most indominable guitar slingers of his generation. An unstoppable force of bold tone, electrifying musicianship and dynamic performance. No wonder he’s been able to persevere through numerous decades of musical fads and trends, staying true to his artform and calling. Built around Travers’ trademark Fender Strat, “Push Yourself” crackles with intensity and bravado. The guitar playing is matched in grittiness and power by Travers’ own vocals, which ring out like a wakeup call to anyone thinking that this veteran blues rocker will be resting on his laurels. As Travers himself puts it, “‘Push Yourself’ is a mantra I use when I need to get my ass in gear and get stuff done. Pretty simple.” Also check out the killer video cut together for “Push Yourself,” which was assembled using recent live footage of Travers tearing up the stage intercut with scenes from the recent Lynyrd Skynyrd dramatization Street Survivors: The True Story Of The Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash.
