On July 4th, we’ll TAKE UP SPACE to close out Chicago’s Black Pride at Promontory Chicago from 3-9 pm to celebrate OUR colorful, boundless possibilities. Join Party Noire DJ’s K. Tea, Diaspora, and Rae Chardonnay, alongside our returning fam Zolita + The Label, in a musical journey that transcends borders. From Renaissance, Ballroom to House and back, they’ll explore the deep history of Black queer dance music, providing us a soundtrack to eat DOWN on the dance floor. As your spacemakers, we’ll bring the juicy, fresh nourishment to our orbit of Black queer, trans, #genderexpansive joy. You’ll bring the good vibes, your most euphorically fly fit + ya squad.
