Beloved by dancers, Pa'lante moves easily from cookin' Latin jazz to spicy hot salsa, cumbia, merengue, bolero, timba and cha cha cha, all designed especially for dancing...even seated listeners can't help but respond to the compelling rhythms. Pa'lante has performed to wide acclaim at festivals and clubs all over the Northwest, including opening for such Latin jazz luminaries as Tito Puente and Mongo Santamaria. Pa'lante is a contraction of para adelante, translated variously as "forward!", "straight ahead!" and "onward!".
